چکیده
The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the parameters of dental implants such as patient gender, number of implant, failed implant before prosthetic restorations and failed implant after implantation and failed implant after prosthetic restorations. 135 male and 99 female patients, total 234 implant patients which have been treated with 450 implant between 20052009 years in GATA Haydarpasa Training Hospital Dental Service. Twelve implants were failed before prosthetic restorations. Four implant were failed after fixed prosthetic restorations. Cumulative survival rate after prostheses were 97.56 % during 6 years period. Keywords—Dental implants, implant supported prostheses, single implants, single crown

مطالعه تنشهای اطراف ایمپلنت به روش اجزای محدود در بریجهای با ساپورت دندان/ایمپلنت در شرایط اتصال سخت و غیرسخت در پروتزهای سمان شونده
Background and Aims: Freestanding fixed partial prosthesis is considered the first choice whenever possible. However, anatomical limitations for implants and other reasons may create situation in which it would be preferable to connect the implants to teeth. A biomechanical dilemma in a tooth/implant-supported system comes from dissimilar mobility. This disparity cause the bridge to function as...
متن کاملRelationship of Life Satisfaction and Satisfaction with Fixed Implant-Supported Prostheses in the Elderly
Background and Aim: The quality of dental treatment is one of the factors that affects life satisfaction in the elderly. Patients expect optimal function, esthetics, and speech from their prosthesis, while durability and technical considerations are also important for clinicians. In addition, social and psychological factors as well as costs can affect patient satisfaction. This study aimed to ...
متن کاملEffect of Three Types of Temporary Luting Cements and Abutment Surface Sandblasting on Retentive Strength of Implant-Supported Fixed Prostheses
Background and Aim: Achieving appropriate retention and easy retrieva bility at the same time is challenging in implant-supported fixed par tial dentures (FPDs). Researchers have always been in search of a temporary cement to improve the retentive strength. The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the effect of three different temporary ce ments and sandblasting of the abutment surface on...
متن کاملCase Report: Implant-Supported Removable Partial Denture In A Mandibular Kennedy CL II: A Clinical Report
Abstract The implant-supported removable partial dentures should be an alternative to conventional removable partial dentures and implant-supported fixed partial prostheses when the implant’s insertion is confined by bone height and thickness. Placing a single implant in the posterior region would modify the Kennedy Class II configuration to a Kennedy Class III and increase the stability a...
متن کاملمقایسه اثر مواد مختلف سازنده ساختار فلزی روکش بر توزیع تنش پیرامون ایمپلنت با آنالیز اجزاء محدود سه بعدی
Objectives: Despite the high success rate, implant-supported prostheses fail in some cases. Control of the applied forces is an important factor determining the success or failure of implants. Complete understanding of the biomechanical principles in implant-supported prostheses is necessary for offering an appropriate custom-made treatment plan for each patient and reducing the risk of functio...
